Introduction to the History of Philosophy

  • Law Building, Room G02 15 Ancora Imparo Way Clayton, VIC, 3168 Australia (map)

This course on the history of philosophy is ideal for undergraduate philosophy students seeking to acquire a general understanding of the field to assist with their studies.

Join me for a free, one-hour introduction to the history of philosophy. This introductory session will provide a curriculum outline for the next ten weeks. We will progress from Ancient Greece, through the Medieval and Modern eras, to 20th-century Objectivism. Along the way, we will cover the three basic schools of epistemology and their corresponding ethical systems.

When formulating the “History of Philosophy” course, I asked myself a simple question:

“What background knowledge do I wish I had when I began my philosophy studies?”

This course is my answer. Please register below.
